SPEAK UP!!
This article has a singular but crucial message—not to be silent!
There has never been a fascist government that has not weaponized its police and military forces against its civilian populace (and destroyed actual free speech.)
Let that sink in.
They (MAGA and those in power who acquiesce to them through intimidation and fear) will allow and encourage both the military and civilian government to persecute anyone who speaks out or works against them. Their first target, just like now, is the First Amendment of the US Constitution. This is not hyperbole or prognostication; Trump has already said he intends to “go after” and prosecute those who have spoken out against him—especially the free press, what he has called THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.
When, not if they come for those who (legally, I might add) oppose them, they will use every method available—legal and illegal, moral and immoral. They will file civil lawsuits and criminal complaints, dox you, and even publish and say slanderous and untrue things about you.
Anything to scare those witnessing these persecutions into silence—in order to advance their fascist regime.
To those who know me, read my book, or just are good with terminology—you will recognize that last sentence. It is called TERRORISM.
I was a counter-terrorist for over twenty years; I know what I am talking about.
My book was about stopping them (MAGA). I will be blunt: we failed. Badly.
But that is not how a war is won. We don’t get to pick and choose when it comes to protecting the US Constitution. Those of us who took the oath of office and truly follow what it says—we (not MAGA)—do not get the “back down” option. I will fight for my people, their rights and freedoms, our current US Constitution, and liberty and justice for ALL.
To the end, if need be.
That is not sedition, treason, or betrayal. That is doing your duty as a true American.
Every time you witness this fascism—through its acts of intimidation and fear—you MUST document and report it. To the free press and lawyers, you will help America by factually reporting everything these fascist monsters wrongly do against their citizens.
I hoped to walk merrily into retirement without a care in the world. I am sure many men and women in our country had better plans than going overseas to fight in a foreign war, too. But when duty calls, your soldiers and police have a DUTY to answer! Do your duty!
As a citizen, you also take an oath—every time you recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
It is liberty and justice FOR ALL. All Americans. All races, all genders, all sexualities, all religions (or lack thereof). All of them. Whether we like them or not.
So, an attack on one of us is an attack on all of us.
Do not be silent. Use those camera phones, call those reporters, and type onto that computer. Stand up to tyranny, or it will destroy us all, or worse, you will learn to live under constant fear and intimidation—you will learn to live under MAGA fascism.
Again, this is NOT a call to violence or criminality. MAGA, our sworn enemy, would love that. Nothing would make them happier than us giving their new fascist government a legal reason to come after us.
No.
We will fight, as long as we can, peacefully. But that does not mean passively!
Call them out, show the world their dirty actions (both overt and clandestine), and band together to bring back the liberal democracy we just lost…
I took an oath to protect our country, its Constitution, and the liberties and freedoms of our people. If I was willing to go to the middle east to do it, you can bet your ass I will do it here at home.
